I started on Radio BGM when I was 16, It was my last year of school. It all came about when one day, my mother saw an ad in a local paper for a radio skills course. She phoned up, and the next night, I was on a Sunday Night Show with a Presenter called Steve Henry.
The next Sunday night, Steve was unable to do his show, and there was no presenter to do the show. And you know what they say "The show must go on", that was my first live show. I remember my studio manager coming in that night and saying "Danny, good news and bad news. Good news is, you have two listeners, bad news is, one of them is deaf. That was four years ago.
Since that Sunday, I've been in the studio presenting the Sunday Night Request Show every week. I've spoken to some amazing people, and done things I could never see myself doing otherwise.

I love listening to my music day in day out and coupled with that I am also musically talented as I play the Acoustic Guitar & Harmonica. I also enjoy nothing better than a good catch up with my mates. I used to attend Llanelli's Coleg Sir Gar but now I am in Swansea Metropolitan Univeristy studying Public Services on a degree level as one day i hope to be a fireman, however i have always had a secret urge to be heavily involved in the music industry.
I hope whilst I am in University to be involved with a Student Radio station. I like listening to dance music and my favourite decade in music has to be the 00's.
I find that artists like Lady Gaga and Rhianna are changing the face of music for the better. My all time favourite band has to be Newton Faulkner.
Out of all the presenters I would probably be the most random of all, that you can count on. You can catch me presenting Radio BGM's flagship show - The Sunday Night Request Show every Sunday from 8pm.
