Gareth Hurford

I have been with Radio BGM since 2004, where I started out making cups of tea for the other presenters. I started my own show in 2007 with Megan Williams.
I am Currently in year 11 at School and have ambitions of being a Doctor or following a career within the broadcast industry. I have a wide variety of interests which include Radio (of course), I also volunteer for the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway.
My favourite decade in music has got to be the 80s, nothing better than a bit of ELO and Dire Straights. I also enjoy listening to Owl City,The Beatles & The Killers.
I am probably the most quick witted presenter at BGM, just listen to my shows!
You can listen to me on Feel Good Friday, every Friday from 7pm, or why not tune into me every Sunday Morning from 11am.
Well I guess thats it. Don't forget to tune in. Bye for now!
STATION MANAGEMENT: Head of Programming (with Liam)
Gareth has been with Radio BGM for almost 8 years now. In early 2011 it was decided that Radio BGM required a Programming Department so Gareth & Liam stepped up and joined the studio management team. Gareth is in charge of all the presenters and on-air content that can be heard on Radio BGM. He also trains new presenters up to on-air standard and organises many of Radio BGM's outside broadcasts & marathon broadcasts.

On Sunday 19th September 2010 Gareth and Liam cycled from Sandy Water Park to the Bynea Gateway to the Millenium Coastal Park on the presenter's bikers challenge.
Phil England met up with the guys at the blue bridge over the A484.
