36 hour marathon broadcast
August 23rd and 24th - The event was organised by Gareth Hurford and was hailed as a great success.
A debt of gratitude is owed to the hospital services for allowing us to put on the event and raise much needed funds and awareness of the radio service.
The event saw the welcome return of an old favourite Tim White, and also some new youngsters, all keen to take up the challenge of becoming a broadcaster.
Voices of Hope Concert
The concert took place on 18th April 2009.
This concert was the culmination of lots of effort and hard work by Radio BGM members and greatful thanks are due to Cor Meibion Llanelli, Mr Efion Thomas, Mr Richard Allan, Mr David Creel and Miss Hannah Washer.
The monies raised from the concert were equally devided by Radio BGM and the Breast Care Unit at the Prince Philip Hospital. the proceeds in total from the evening totalled over £1500.
A BIG thak you to everyone who attended and to Greenfield Chapel for allowing us to stage the event.
Memories Book
Radio BGM was chosen along with the Ty Bryngwyn Hospice to be the recipients of monies raised from the sale of the book Memories, a collection of work by local artist, the late Vernon Hurford.
